This brooch features an American Mined, Mesa Verde Peridot.  Made using a process called "Reticulation," the surface of this brooch has a rich texture made by melting a thin layer of pure silver over a sterling silver alloy.  Each reticulated piece has a wide array of peaks and valleys that mimic the landscapes found in Badlands National Park.
